I had the Holly Hobbie kitchen and dolls and te set, etc. I always had my younger sister and brother and the kids that my mom babysat back then in my room with me. I played school with all of them , of course I was the teacher and I cooked for them with my Holly Hobbie Stove and Kitchen Set. Those days were the best.
I also was so into Strawberry Shortcake- my younger sister and I even had a Strawberry Shortcake birthtday party at McDonalds... (I was turning 10 and she was turning 5). and she is still alive today...thats great!

I practiced roller skating all the time- I even started with the metal 4 wheelers...I was ssssooooo happy when one Christmas I got new white high top skates with PINK wheels...I rehearsed shows dancing to the Olivia Newton John RECORD-yes the record on my little table top record player in our huge driveway and even sold tickets to neighbors to come watch my brothers (who did stunts on their bikes and skateboards) and I ... geez...those were the days, huh-
well, that was a NICE trip back in time- it brought back so many memories for me...

I am so glad you did this. wow! i am constintly learning new things about you . who knew Olivia Newton John.But hey I had a record player too wow we are getting old.
i so loved holly hobbie. i had holly hobbie stationary that i hoarded! and i too was a roller skater....in fact, the theme for next week includes a roller skating story. :) hope you had a good friday!
