Just a little bit about our family...

for those of you trying to figure out just exactly who is who and how we are all related, i will tell you a little bit about my immediate family. eric and i have been together for almost 7 years and engaged for 2 . i have 2 daughters, becca who is 17 and vanessa who is 14. About three years ago, i also began taking care of my brothers two oldest kids (my nephew and neice)---jeremy, now 7- and kaylee--who will be 4 on Aug. 29th. i was appointed their legal guardian over 2 years ago. this was a lot of work, being as how my two daughters were a lot older and didn't need a baby sitter or day care and stuff. it took a while to get everything settled but it all worked out. with eric and i both working full time, we have been extremley busy over the past few years. We just recently bought a house and jeremy and kaylee have their own room now, that is great! becca is starting her senior year, wow, i'm getting old-- she also works part time--vanessa is starting her sophomore year-they are both good girls, well teenagers i should say, they get good grades, don't give me a hard time-(well, for the most part anyways) and they do help me out with jermey and kaylee. and then theres eric...eric and i have had our ups and downs, beleive me...but we have managed to stick it out and we are now officially engaged with no specific date set yet, maybe sometime next year. he has been there for me through some pretty tough times and as far as the kids...he has been there for them like a dad. i think that is awesome. there are not too many guys out there that would do the things that eric has for me and the kids. well, i hope that explains a little bit about our family. hope you enjoy visiting my blog!
